X-rays are taken at our clinic in Taman Sungai Besi Indah. No referral letter is needed and our doctor reads the result on the spot.
What we X-ray
We take X-rays of all parts of the body except the head. This includes the chest, spine, arms and legs.
We do not take X-rays of the head. For a head X-ray you will need to go to another centre.
Who it is for
- Anyone who needs an X-ray. You do not need a referral letter from another doctor.
- Foreign workers doing their FOMEMA medical examination. If you did your blood and other tests elsewhere, you can come to us for the X-ray only.
- People doing a pre-employment or Comprehensive checkup. Both include a chest X-ray.

Before your X-ray
- Bring your IC or passport for registration.
- For FOMEMA, bring your original passport.
- If your employer or another doctor gave you a form or letter, bring it with you.
- You may be asked to remove jewellery or clothing with metal parts.
Pregnant or might be pregnant? Tell our staff before your X-ray.
Results
Our in-house doctor looks at your X-ray and reports on it on the spot, so you do not have to wait days for an answer.
If a report from a radiologist is required, it takes 24 hours.
Quality checks
Our X-ray unit is licensed by the Ministry of Health under the Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984. It passes an independent quality test every year, and a consultant radiologist audits our chest X-ray films.

Do I need a referral letter for an X-ray?
No. You do not need a referral letter. Walk in and our staff will register you.
How much is a chest X-ray?
A chest X-ray is RM 45. For other X-rays, WhatsApp us for the price.
When will I get my X-ray result?
Our in-house doctor reports on your X-ray on the spot. If you need a report from a radiologist, it takes 24 hours.
Can I come only for the FOMEMA X-ray?
Yes. If you did your FOMEMA blood and other tests at another clinic, you can come to us just for the X-ray. Bring your original passport. See FOMEMA checkups.
